Run Drills
Notes on Run Drills.
Drills are an important warm up tool for running. Each drill will accentuate a part of the run technique which will develop your running economy.
How often? You should incorporate running drills in your track, interval and speed session warmups. Running drills are not like swimming drills and should not be used every session.
How fast should I do my drills? The aim of drills should not be speed, rather the focus should be on perfecting the skill.
What if I don’t understand a drill? Email me! Try to film it so I can also see you doing the drill. Don’t struggle alone!!
Some run drills are listed below -
