Notes on stretching.
How often? You should have a quick stretch post most training sessions, with 1 to 2 full body, 30minute stretch sessions every week with a focus on full body stretching.
How long do you hold a stretch? Each stretch should be held for 20sec max. You should go through your routine twice as the second stretch generally has better results.
Should stretching hurt? Short answer is NO! Stretching should provide a mild discomfort, but NEVER a sharp pain. Stretch to your ability, don’t be influenced by others.
